TUTORS FOR THE MODEL “Inclusive Smart City” BY TICTOC CROC

WITHIN THE PROJECT “SHINHAN S² BRIDGE – VIETNAM 2022”

1. Background:

The Shinhan S² Bridge Vietnam project is a cross-border and cross-sector collective impact initiative, aiming to design and build an inclusive community that gives opportunities to all in Vietnam. The project, coordinated by Management and Sustainable Development Institute (MSD) – United Way Vietnam and funded by Shinhan Financial Group Hope Foundation, leverages innovative tech solutions offered by proven cross-border startups through a partnership with community leaders to tackle social problems and create social impact.

Within Shinhan S² Bridge Vietnam 2022, Tictoc Croc Corp. is one of the selected Korean startups to provide innovative tech solutions to children of low-income families in Ho Chi Minh City. 25 offline extra-curriculum classes will be held for 500 children in Ho Chi Minh City who are currently studying in charity schools across the area. Each class tentatively consists of 10 periods. Through the project, Tictoc Croc Corp. aims to close the learning gap through effective digital education for school-age children.

The project would like to recruit tutors with experience in education and working with children to take the responsibility of tutoring young children within the project. The tutor will work with Tictoc Croc Corp. and MSD United Way Vietnam officers to perform assigned tasks within the project.

2. Qualifications:

• Have a Bachelor’s Degree or higher (from any discipline) or are currently a university student with experience in teaching children.
• Have a minimum of one year of experience in teaching/tutoring in any subject.
• Have an active personality and is loving towards kids.
• Having an Early Childhood Education certification/ESL teaching certificate is an advantage.
• Work in close cooperation and harmony with other co-workers.
• Have English proficiency (since all training sessions and workshops will be conducted in English).
• Based in Ho Chi Minh City.

3. Role & Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver fully organized lessons that are provided.
• Classroom management.
• Mark and provide appropriate feedback on quizzes, assignments, etc.
• Basic administration: taking attendance, giving weekly feedback on student progress, etc.
• Attend and contribute to training sessions and workshops.
• Be present, be punctual, and be responsible.
