LNOB BI-MONTH MEETING

On the afternoon of June 16, members of the Leave No One Behind Partnership (LNOB Vietnam) conducted a bi-month meeting at the ChildFund in Vietnam’s representative office. This was also the first in-person meeting after a long period of time held online due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The meeting was attended by representatives of member organizations including the Management and Sustainable Development Institute (MSD Vietnam), ChildFund Vietnam, Save the Children in Vietnam, World Vision Vietnam, Helvetas Vietnam, ActionAid Vietnam, and VUFO NGO Resource Centre.
Here, members have updated the process of the 2020 – 2021 LNOB Vietnam Highlight Report and discussed the plan of the Citizen-generated Data project on the implementation of sustainable development goals in Vietnam.
In addition, the meeting also noted comments on the implementation of capacity-building training courses for LNOB members; the opportunity to participate in the Voluntary National Review on the implementation of the SDGs 2023; and the recruitment of other civil society organizations to join the network.
The Leave No One Behind (LNOB Vietnam) was established in 2017 with the mission of empowering disadvantaged and vulnerable groups through the broad and comprehensive application of sustainable development goals. Since June 2020, MSD has been honored to be elected as the country lead, committed to working to build a solidarity and partnership ecosystem in the practice of sustainable development.
