Management and Sustainable Development Institute (MSD) and other members of the Leave No One Behind (LNOB) Vietnam Partnership are delighted to publish the 2020-2021 LNOB Highlight Report. This report is a summary of the brief introduction to LNOB Vietnam, our highlight activities, and the contributions of our member organizations to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations.
According to the report, the 2020-2021 period marked two major achievements of the LNOB Vietnam Partnership. First, LNOB members actively provided recommendations in Vietnam National Report 2020: Five-year Progress of SDG Implementation, having nearly 80% of the feedback incorporated in the final report by the Ministry of Planning and Investment. In addition, the coalition published the Vietnam SDG 16+ Report, an important section in the Monitoring and Review of SDG 16 Plus at the National and Regional Level (2015-2020) in Asia.
In conjunction with the 2020-2021 Highlight Report, we would like to introduce a Leaflet for LNOB Vietnam with brief information about the Partnership as well as our upcoming action plan. Accordingly, LNOB Vietnam will continue to promote the implementation and guidelines of Citizen-generated data and contribute content and feedback to Vietnam’s 2023 Voluntary National Review.
The Leave No One Behind (LNOB) Vietnam Partnership was established in 2017 with the mission of empowering disadvantaged and vulnerable groups through the broad and comprehensive application of Sustainable Development Goals. In June 2020, MSD was honored to be elected as LNOB Vietnam Country Lead, committed to working to build a solidarity and partnership ecosystem in the practice of sustainable development.
