Environment Ambassador

With the mission of improving the sustainable quality of life of vulnerable community groups, in 2023, MSD initiated the project to enhance biodiversity protection, develop mangrove and community forests to contribute to carbon sequestration, enhance climate resilience, and ensure sustainable livelihoods for vulnerable communities in the nothern region and the Mekong Delta area.

The project aim to plant and maintain a 5 ha mangrove forest for 10 years, coordinated by MSD United Way Vietnam and MangLub, was implemented with the support of the Vĩnh Long & Cần Thơ local governments. MSD United Way Vietnam with Yves Rocher Vietnam has collaborated with the People's Committee of My Long Nam commune and social enterprise MangLub Vietnam in Tra Vinh to plant 10,000m² of protective forest with 2,500 trees.

The Environmental Health program is dedicated to sustainable practices and green initiatives aiming at safeguarding a healthy environment for communities, particularly the disadvantaged. We advocate for energy saving, waste management, and tree planting initiatives to enhance Vietnam's healthy environment.
