March 31st, 2021 HCMC – Management and Sustainable Development Institute (MSD) organized the “A New Life Page” program – Gifting toys to vulnerable children in Ho Chi Minh City with support from Spin Master.
On the morning of March 31st, 2021, at Anh Linh charity school, MSD organized “A New Life Page” program – Gifting toys to vulnerable children in Ho Chi Minh City with expressing a desire to promote a safe and healthy surroundings, contributing to ensure and promote the children’s right to play and entertain. The gifts are sponsored by Spin Master – one of the world’s leading toys and digital games companies.
Through MSD, Spin Master has presented 348 toy sets with familiar cartoon characters with children. These types are suitable for both boys and girls in the age groups from 3 to 10. All toy sets are qualified for children. The number of toys has been sent to 6 shelters, children protection center, and charity schools with 800 vulnerable children in the city.
During the event, children not only received gifts, but also being instructed to use toys. N.Y – a 6 year-old student of Anh Linh School expressed: “It’s great! My favorite one is the police dog toy in the Paw Patrol (a cartoon about the rescue dog squad). He is very brave. I also want to be a police to help people in the future!”.
Ms. Nguyen Phuong Linh – Executive Director of MSD shared: “When thinking about children, we often talk about EATING – LEARNING – PLAYING. These sound very popular, but to vulnerable children whom we are supporting, it’s very different. Having enough food to eat, going to school and playing with toys are hard to approach. We are very happy to cooperate with businesses, and donors, especially Spin Master. Thanks to this, we could bring to children these smart and safe toys. The children’s smiles today expressed positive thoughts and dreams of the future, so we hope to become motivated people to help them overcome the difficulties and develop their potential to grow and succeed.”
Ms. Mai Thi Kim Dung – Principal of Anh Linh Charity School said: “We would like to thank Spin Master for sending these meaningful gifts to our children in the school in particular and the children in shelters and sponsorships in general. We also sincerely thank MSD – those who give their hearts and minds to be the connector between donors and us, so that our children get chances to have fun. Hopefully, there will be more donors and sponsors joining hands with us to take care of and support these vulnerable children.”
