Within the framework of the project “Enhancing scientific access for students in the highlands of Vietnam – STEMkidVN", on December 30, 2022, the Institute for Sustainable Development Management (MSD) and Ban Lau Primary School (Muong Khuong District, Lao Cai Province) officially opened STEM classroom and awarded a package to upgrade the system of educational equipment to support STEM at the school. The activity received financial support from 3M Corporation.
This is one of the efforts to create opportunities for children in the highlands to interact with STEM education in primary schools as well as to inspire them to explore the excitement of interdisciplinary STEM education (science, technology, engineering, mathematics).
The classroom is not only used for the STEM Club’s weekly activities, but it is also open for all students to visit and enjoy exploring the STEM world with a variety of equipment and learning materials from the funding package within the framework of the STEMkidVN project.
